Origins

In this pedigree the successful French sport and breeding stallions DIAMANT DE SEMILLY and BALOUBET DU ROUET are united.

Under Eric Levallois, DIAMANT DE SEMILLY won the French National title, team gold at the WC in Jerez de la Frontera and team silver at the EC in Donaueschingen. BALOUBET DU ROUET, ridden by Rodrigo Pessoa, won the World Cup Finals three times and became Olympic champion.

The blood of DIAMANT DE SEMILLY is introduced through his famous black son DIARADO, who was the 2007 champion of the Holsteiner stallion selection. DIARADO descends from the Holsteiner dam line 318d2 which produced several licensed stallions such as COROFINO and II, CORIANO, CRAWFORD etc as well as a great number of international sport horses.

The blood of BALOUBET DU ROUET was contributed by his Oldenburger son BALOU DU ROUET, who is currently successful at S level (1.40m) under Helena Torstensson. In the third generation RAMIRO Z completes the list of famous sires in this pedigree.

The dam’s line (NL-182) has also proved its qualities for the top sport. Great-grandam BIRENATA is the grandam of the GP showjumping horses JESSICA (ROSSINI) under Jessica Kürten and PALONA (JERALDO) under Laura Bowery as well as the national showjumping horse OUT OF CONTROL (JERALDO) under Rogier Linssen.

In addition, the blood of DIARADO matches very well with the blood of dam BODINA W.This combination ensures that in the first five removes the valuable jumping genes of the stallions JURISTE (ULTIMATE xx) and CONTENDER (CALYPSO II) are doubly anchored via a son and a daughter.

Performance

Licensed at the Westphalian Körung in 2011. 3-years-old he accomplishes his stallion test 4-years-old he brilliantly starts jumping competition with 8 out of 8 fault free rounds. He also qualifies for the Finals of the French Dressage Championship in Saumur where he finishes at 6th place! He also gets licensed for Selle Francais. 5-years-old he stays clear in 13 rounds out of 14 in the French YH-circuit. He is qualified for the French Championship in Fontainebleau. 6-years-old he again signs numerous clear rounds and takes part in the World Championship in Lanaken.
