Origins

Sire: ERMITAGE KALONE

Son of international performer P. WEISHAUPT, winner of the Bordeaux World Cup CATOKI, and out of a Kannan daughter, ERMITAGE comes from the maternal line of FUSAIN DU DEFEY, KIM DU MAURY, PRESTIGE KALONE, TENAREZE, SIROCCO DU GERS, SAXO DES HAYETTES...

Ermitage Kalone is a young stallion much appreciated for his fabulous genetics, breeding qualities and stunning performances!

- In 2017, he was approved as a 3-year-old Selle Français stallion and joined Belgium, making a brilliant debut on the PAVO CUP circuit.

- 2018 to 2019 : he is a winner on the classic 4 and 5-year-old circuit in Belgium and 6th in the 5-year-old Pavo Cup final.

- 2021: with Gilles Thomas, he is 4th in the 7-year-old CSI-YH at Lier, 6th in the CSI-YH at Valkenswaard and takes part in the 7-year-old Belgian championship at Lanaken.

- 2022 : Placed 2nd in the GP 1.45m at the CSI2* in Valkenswaard, 3rd in a 1.45m event at the CSI3* in Brussels and 5th at the CSI5* in Mechelen.

- 2023 : A string of clear rounds in CSI 4* and top placings

His dam, the Bellaventure mare Kalone, is a daughter of the exceptional Kannan and runs a fabulous maternal line! Her granddam is none other than Prestige Kalone's dam, ridden by Philippe Rozier in CSI5* classes (1.60m), and is descended from one of the best Anglo-Arabian bloodlines, having herself been a finalist at Fontainebleau at age 6.

ERMITAGE's production is still very young. Her first offspring were born in 2018 and are already making a name for themselves in competition, at approvals and also at auctions, so this is undoubtedly a stallion with a future!
